Our Lizzie T. Leaf has garnered some great reviews for her latest Triskelion Publishing release Boy Toy.
Here's what Sky at Coffee Time Romance had to say:
Scarlett has been a homemaker since she married her late husband and has never worked outside of home. However, she has no choice but to look for a job after finding out that her financial manager ran off with her money. But job hunting is never easy for a 53-year-old widow. Everything changes when she sees an ad for an office job in the adult entertainment industry.
Finn enjoys being a bartender at Hank's Place, and having sold his own company for a profit, he stays on the bar and becomes a silent partner, allowing his partner and friend to recover from his illness and enjoy life. Yet unknown to Finn, his life starts a new chapter when Scarlett walks into the bar after her interview.
Desperately needing a job, Scarlett is hired as an office admin in a phone sex
company, although she is the most unlikely character suited for the environment with her Church Lady suit. She confides her doubts to Finn after the interview. Finn has always been attracted to older women, but never more than after he sees Scarlett with a new look. Wishing herself twenty years younger, Scarlett has not failed to notice Finn and the feelings he evokes. Are they only friends? Or is it possible for them to be together?
Boy Toy is the sequel to Call Me, although I have to admit that I might not have read the first, I thoroughly enjoy the second. Scarlett is a woman whom I aspire to be when I am her age, and it is interesting to watch Finn moon over her and muster the nerve to ask her out. Attraction between them is simmering just below the surface, waiting to boil over. This older woman/younger man story is extremely enjoyable and will have you reluctant to put it down once started. It is a gem of a book to have. I can hardly wait for Dulcie's story, which is the next book.

Boy Toy by Lizzie T. Leaf, sequel to Call Me, is a wonderful fast-paced short story that has it's humorous moments as Scarlett learns what the Call Me Agency is all about. The characters are so real that I feel like I have known them all my life. Scarlett’s angst over the age difference is understandable. But when Finn and Scarlett get together, the pages burst into flames with their sizzling passion. It was so hot I was fanning myself to cool down. Ms Leaf has delivered another tremendous story that would be a great addition for your collection of short erotic romance.
Glenda K. Bauerle of The Romance Studio says about Lizzie T. Leaf's Boy Toy:
Scarlett wakes from a faint, caused by the news that her financial manager has cleaned her out and that she is penniless. And not only has he ruined her financial state but that of many others. Having become widowed three years before, not being the youngest in age, and not having worked outside the home, her attempts at finding a job to remedy the penniless situation run into a few hindrances. But then she catches sight of an advertisement in the paper, her interview turns out surprisingly well and Scarlett is on a roll. Her new boss, Dulcie, cant believe the spunky woman applying for the office manager/dispatcher job she needs filled. A more unlikely character for a business of this sort would be hard to find. A firm supplying telephone sex is a new environment for Scarlett, but she is willing to try, and a new world is opened for her.
The bartender in the tavern across the street is the first person she meets after her interview, and the first to have an open ear for her doubts. Finn finds her interesting and very pretty, once one takes away the slightly mousey look of her garb, and he always had a thing for slightly older women than himself. He finds the prospect of seeing Scarlett more often, very appealing. And Scarlett hasnt failed to notice that Finn is one gorgeous specimen, and very easy on the eyes.
An older woman/younger man story that is just plain fun. Finn is a treasure to spoil any woman and Scarlett finally getting a life of her own and finding love along with it makes for a great story. And Id really like to know just who Dulcies great love is.
