Undercovers 4: Guilty Pleasures by Ruth D. Kerce
Detective Renee Atkin doesn't know it yet, but she is the target of an escaped convict's deep-seeded revenge plot. Her live-in boyfriend, Detective Sam Hooper, is included in his plans as well.
Raul Cortez lives for the moment when he can take Renee's life like she did his brother's. In fact, he'll enjoy torturing her before he does. But first he has to kill Hooper and her damned cat.
When Sam finds out about Cortez's escape, he convinces Renee that after their respective bachelor/bachelorette parties they need to get out of town, to a secluded cabin where they can wait for Cortez to make his move.
The action is hot and heavy in this story of two lovers and the nasty man who wants to take their happiness away. While the violence might not be to the taste of some, it does fit the story plot and keeps the tension high. So high, in fact, you won't be able to stop reading.
If you like a touch of mystery with copious amounts of sex, you're sure to enjoy Ruth D. Kerce's lastest offering, Guilty Pleasures.
